Adams Morgan and A.W. Bowman Sears Crystal Radio Detectors
The crystal detector on the left is an unknown crystal detector from the wireless era. If anyone can help me discover the maker I would appreciate it. The crystal detector in the center is a Sears Crystal Detector. It is assumed it was made by A.W. Bowman since they made many of the detectors for Sears. The back of the Sears detector has a label "Licensed Marconi patent 763,772". The front arm has the cat's whisker and the back arm holds the crystal in place. A picture of the Sears detector can be seen on page 35 of the 1916 Sears Wireless catalog. The detector on the right is an Amco (Adams Morgan) model 7714 from 1913.
