Radio Receptor One Tube Universal Tuner Type T D Radio
Radio Receptor One Tube Radio Receiver. This exposed tube radio from about 1921-22 could be hooked up in two ways. If you used P1 and P2 on the right side of the set to hookup the headphones you had a TRF receiver. If you moved the headphones to TC1 & TC2 you had a regenerative receiver. The instructions warned that if you used TC1 and TC2 "All regenerative hook-ups infringe on patents by Major Edwin A. Armstrong and no responsibility is taken by the manufacturer if the connections of this set are so changed." The regenerative circuit would work better and I suspect most users of this set used it.
